Hanover’s mascot is the Hawk ( formerly the Indians) and their colors are blue and gold.
Hanover is part of the MIAA ( Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association) and the “Patriot League” that also includes towns like Duxbury, Hingham, Plymouth, Marshfield, Scituate, Whitman, Pembroke and Quincy.
School athletics are held locally at Hanover High School, Ceurvels Field and Forge Pond Park.
