A LENDER

  • If you are taking out a mortgage, I recommend speaking to at least 2 different brokers & find one that not only gives you the best rate, but also someone who communicates well & you can trust.

    **Get preapproved as soon as possible as offers will not be considered without this.

AN ATTORNEY

  • A seasoned attorney and their team is crucial throughout the transaction but particularly in the purchase & Sale and the closing. You need someone who is going to look out for you & not leave you vulnerable to future legal issues.

 

A REALTOR

  • Meet with multiple agents from different brokerages and find someone you mesh well with. Hire an agent who is an effective communicator, negotiator & has a reach beyond the MLS. A hard worker with great relationships within the industry and someone who has a plan from pre-market to close. Do not choose someone based on commission rate.
